The Medlock Post Ep. 141: Capitalism or Totalitarianism
The first is capitalism, which embraces freedom, rights of man, self-determination, and technology.
The second is totalitarianism, where the state is omnipotent.

In the end,
perhaps the best definition of socialism is simply “The endless war against
merit.”
“Never worry about who will be offended if you speak
the truth.
Worry about who will be Misled, Deceived, and
Destroyed if you don’t.”
The Trilateral Commission was founded in 1973 by David Rockefeller Sr., Zbigniew Brzezinski, and Henry Kissinger to further the development of what was then called a New International Economic Order integrating the economies of North America, Europe, and Asia (back then, Japan; now, China).
Once again, we find John Locke setting forth
this same doctrine in his classical Second Essay Concerning Civil Government:
“The reason why men enter
into society is the preservation of their property.... [Therefore,] whenever
the legislators endeavor to take away and destroy the property of the people,
or to reduce them to slavery under arbitrary power, they [the officials of
government] put themselves into a state of war with the people, who are
thereupon absolved from any further obedience, and are left to the common
refuge which God hath provided for all men against force and violence.
Whensoever, therefore, the legislative shall transgress this fundamental rule
of society, and either by ambition, fear, folly, or corruption, endeavor to
grasp themselves, or put into the hands of any other, an absolute power over
the lives, liberties, and estates of the people, by this breach of trust they
[the government officials] forfeit the power the people had put into their
hands ... and it devolves to the people, who have a right to resume their
original liberty, and ... provide for their own safety and security.”
Gun control supporters are wrong to claim that “assault weapons” are used in most mass shootings. While the media focus on this false narrative, mass killings have been committed with firearms of all types, and without firearms of any type.
Second Amendment – Firearms that gun control supporters call “assault weapons” and ammunition magazines that they call “large” are among the arms protected by the Second Amendment. Because they’re among the arms that are most useful for the entire range of defensive purposes, they’re “in common use” for defensive purposes, a standard articulated by the Supreme Court in District of Columbia v. Heller (2008).
Why the Original Constitution Will Never Be Obsolete:
And that is what the Constitution is all about—providing freedom from abuse by those in authority. Anyone who says the American Constitution is obsolete just because social and economic conditions have changed does not understand the real genius of the Constitution. It was designed to control something which has not changed and will not change—namely, human nature.

Mark Twain:
“The two greatest characters in the 19th century are Napoleon and Helen Keller. Napoleon tried to conquer the world by physical force and failed. Helen tried to conquer the world by power of mind — and succeeded!”

Patriotic Americans need to stand for free markets or capitalism at home and throughout the world. When America leads in freedom and good, the world benefits.
The spirit of freedom which moved out across the world in the 1800’s was primarily inspired by the fruits of freedom in the United States. The climate of free-market economics lead to the explosion of inventions and discoveries the next 200 years.
