White House Records Show More Than A Dozen Visits By George Soros’ Son

May 4, 2023

The George Soros family has its tentacles deep within the administration of President Joe Biden and the records show it. Since the start of the administration, Soros’ son has visited top officials a the White House 14 times.

Alexander Soros, a massive Democrat fundraiser who brags about his relationships with world leaders as if he would have gotten them on his own, has had more than a dozen White House visits with top officials in the past two years.

The Post reported:

His latest trips include visiting Dec. 1 with then-White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain’s advisor Nina Srivastava, who also worked on Biden’s presidential campaign, the logs show.

Later that evening. the younger Soros was one of 330 people who attended a lavish state dinner on the White House South Lawn hosted by the president and First Lady Jill Biden honoring French President Emmanuel Macron and Macron’s wife, Brigitte.

Have we lost America to a Marxist-communist movement? Are we in an unrecoverable tailspin toward our nation’s demise?

Why have I asked these questions, you ask? It is because the Marxist left has so corrupted America and its election system that it appears no Republican candidate can win in 2024. There, I said it. It won’t happen. Instead, these next two years will not simply be the same as the past two — they will be far worse.

The election system in our country, in practically every single state, is simply broken and fosters little trust among the voting population. And the Marxist left loves it!

You can blame it on machines, mail-in ballots, ballot harvesting or some other means of voting irregularity, all of which are symptoms of a far greater problem: the deep-seated corruption of our federal-level political class that filters down to every county. The political class has practically shredded our Constitution and destroyed any modicum of freedom being held together by those constitutional remnants.

The destruction of America’s heritage and ideals has been a goal of the left for over 100 years, but the election of Barack Obama vastly accelerated these efforts, which were by and large unopposed and certainly unrecognized by the Republican Party.

Indeed, Obama — while hiding his Marxist background and aspirations — put much time and effort into transforming America by infiltrating the federal government with thousands of socialist ideologues and implementing programs and regulations that targeted the foundations of America’s greatness: its free enterprise system, the First and Second Amendments, the family unit, free and fair elections, and the rule of law.

While the election of Donald Trump in 2016 interrupted these plans, as well as my life, they were resumed by Joe Biden, whether he knew it or not.

These Marxist-based goals have now resulted in such damage to America that it is doubtful we will ever be able to recover the freedoms and liberties our Founders bestowed upon us. The trends of the last few years have led to many difficult-to-reverse changes that have severely undermined the principles that made America the freest and most prosperous country in world history.

While most conservative pundits tend to analyze and respond to these trends individually, when one looks at them collectively, it becomes obvious that the United States as we know it is in its final phase and that everything conservatives have warned about for decades is now upon us. Just look at the trends.

1. We no longer have free and fair elections. The left has now rigged two elections, 2020 and 2022, by funneling hundreds of millions of dollars from the elites into blue voting districts, using COVID to illegally alter state voting regulations, suppressing news stories that would have destroyed Biden’s candidacy (Hunter’s laptop, anyone?) and using a wholly corrupt media to brainwash unengaged Americans.

The idea that a senile, incompetent, lifelong swamp creature who hid in his basement and held three campaign rallies received more votes than the most popular president in U.S. history, Barack Obama, is an insult to our intelligence.

2. We do not appear to have a Supreme Court that cares about election fraud allegations. SCOTUS refused to take on perhaps the most important case of alleged election fraud in American history, the Texas case of 2020, claiming Texas had no standing, when in fact it clearly did. The court appears to have an incorrect understanding of the separation of powers doctrine.

3. We have allowed our intelligence agencies to work with one party to help deliver an election to its candidate by literally suppressing the freedom of speech of countless Americans, and those agencies suffered no consequences.

This is a subject I have vast knowledge and understanding of. The entire Russian collusion hoax was a warning that has not yet been heeded. The intelligence community demonstrated that it was willing to collaborate with one political party to deny the sacred rights of Americans to duly elect their leaders.

4. The president of the United States has been severely compromised by our leading adversary, but not even the GOP will hold him accountable. The evidence is now overwhelming that Biden and his family have enriched themselves by virtue of Joe Biden serving as Obama’s vice president. Dare I say “impeachment”?

5. We have allowed the weaponization of the federal government to a degree our Founders would not even recognize. The FBI has used its powers to not just help the Democrats win elections, but to create a vast surveillance state in conjunction with social media companies in an effort to shut down the First Amendment rights of Americans who dare to question Biden’s policies.

6. The return to race-based policies is destroying the American ideal. The Black Lives Matter riots over two years ago accelerated the idea that race, not merit, should determine advancement in society when it comes to employment, housing, bank loans, welfare, college admission, criminal justice policies — and the list goes on. This completely undermines Martin Luther King who, like most Americans, believed in a colorblind society based on merit and qualifications alone.

7. Both political parties are following a foreign policy doctrine whose central theme is the concentration of power among global elites at the expense of American sovereignty. This uni-party has America continuing as an empire-building nation, but it is not our empire they are building.

8. America’s founding Christian culture is not just being attacked but is under total assault and will soon disappear. We no longer have a culture that protects our families, our children, our values, our churches and our First Amendment rights. The sexualization of children alone is disgusting, yet perverse adults who claim to act in their best interests groom them for early sexual activity.

9. Women’s sports are being taken over by fake women while real women lose college scholarships, national championships and Olympic team spots. Apparently, they now believe that the destruction of gender takes precedence over the rights of women, which tells us that today’s feminist movement is really not about protecting the rights of women to begin with.

10. We have an energy policy leading to conditions reminiscent of the 1800s. The use of illegal federal laws and regulations to stop or restrict the drilling, transportation, refining and selling of gas and oil will result in corporations ceasing to invest in these energy sources. This is all being done to meet phony “climate change” goals. If the current energy trends continue, we are facing the reversal of 2,000 years of civilization, global economies will shrivel, and the world’s elites will live like kings while the rest of us slobs live in a very poor, slave-like society.

This list is not inclusive nor prioritized. For instance, I did not mention the parts of the medical establishment that nearly destroyed America and the so-called “experts” who should no longer be trusted. America must now wake up to what is happening to our once-beautiful constitutional republic.

This all leads to the $64,000 questions: 1) What to do next and 2) How will that be accomplished?

We must first return to the Constitution, and I am not saying or even suggesting that anyone should refuse to vote. We should all vote just in case a miracle occurs. And yes, the real test comes in the 2024 elections. If, after destroying our economy, our military, our border, our culture, our Constitution and just about everything else, the senile buffoon somehow ends up with a second term, we will all know in our hearts that the 2024 election was stolen and that we will never again win the White House.

Our governors must be at the forefront of any and all solutions. All governors, but especially red state governors, need to consider nullifying federal laws and regulations not specifically authorized by the Constitution.

A good place for them to start is to read Thomas Woods’ book “Nullification: How to Resist Federal Tyranny in the 21st Century.” In this book, Woods reminds us that our Founding Fathers considered the nullification of unconstitutional federal laws by the states to be a check on a corrupt federal government. Of course, the media will portray any such moves as “extreme,” but the reality is that the massive semi-police state we now live in is far more extreme, has no constitutional authority, and never did.

Will we ever recover our constitutional freedoms?

In the end, what we need (desperately) is leaders at all levels of our republic who want to restore the vision of America’s Founders of a free and prosperous society in which every person has the potential to succeed.

This suggestion is not complex, and its most important ingredient is to start locally and elect state officeholders who have the guts to follow the Founders’ original vision of a decentralized government in which the vast majority of power is in the hands of the states. Local action can have a national impact, but only if we the people stand up and speak out.

If we are able to return to a semblance of a federalist model of governance as our Founders envisioned, businesses will once again flourish by leaving behind unruly federal regulations, we can stop the unconstitutional FBI from harassing our citizens, we can return our schools to local control, we can secure our borders, we can stop the sexualization of children, we can end restrictions on free speech, gun ownership, and religious freedom, and we can and should expect many other positive outcomes.

The Bill of Rights was ratified on Dec. 15, 1791 (a mere 232 years ago). These original 10 amendments were each elegantly crafted as well as visionary in their sustainability and simple application of common sense.

So, given the above framework and analysis, I want to finish by pointing readers to the 10th Amendment: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

I don’t know about you, but I find that amendment still a profoundly good idea, and one that screams for application during these times that, as Thomas Paine said, “try men’s souls.”

So, red state governors, what say you?

US banks are failing, and the authorities seem unlikely to intervene

May 4, 2023

Shares in two more US regional banks have been suspended. Regulators moved in to halt trading in Los Angeles-based PacWest and Arizona’s Western Alliance on Thursday after they became the latest victims of an escalating crisis that began with Silicon Valley Bank in March.

The message from central banks and bank supervisors is that this is not a rerun of the global financial crisis of 2008. That may be true. With the exception of Switzerland’s Credit Suisse, European banks have escaped the turmoil. It is specific US banks that are the problem.

There are a number of reasons for that: the business models of the banks concerned; failures of regulation; the large number of small and mid-sized banks in the US; and the rapid increase in interest rates from the country’s central bank, the Federal Reserve.

The Real Story Of The Clarence Thomas Non-Scandal Is Pro-Lifers Care About Life Outside The Womb

May 4, 2023

Leftist ideologues in the corporate press can’t stop themselves. Ever since their 1991 character assassination of Clarence Thomas failed to stick, they’ve twisted themselves in knots to paint the conservative Supreme Court justice as a moral stain. Their latest attack came in the form of a hit piece in ProPublica on Thursday about his family’s close personal friend Harlan Crow paying tuition for the Thomases’ grandnephew, Mark Martin.

It’s a total nothingburger. The piece itself acknowledges the disclosure laws are narrow and thus don’t even appear to apply to this situation since Martin is not the justice’s offspring. Case closed — or, at least, it should be.

Mark Paoletta, Ginni Thomas’ lawyer and a longtime friend of the Thomases, further elaborated on the payments in a statement. He said Crow had personally recommended Randolph Macon Academy, which Crow himself had attended and financially supported, for Martin before sending the first year’s tuition payment directly to the school. Then after later recommending a Georgia boarding school, Crow sent a year’s worth of tuition payments directly there before Martin returned again to Randolph Macon.

Recent Reports By Financial Regulators Show The Downside Of Letting Regulators Review Their Own Work

May 4, 2023

The Federal Reserve (Fed) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) released reports on their actions regarding the collapses of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) and Signature Bank (Signature) and what could be changed to prevent a similar bank collapse in the future. Both reports rightfully conclude that bank management at SVB and Signature played a role as to why both banks failed but did not dwell too long on this point. Bank leaders at both institutions were clearly at fault for why both banks failed and became 2 of the largest bank failures in U.S. history.

The Fed’s report also states that regulators had begun to realize that SVB had issues with their management and risk years ago but had been slow to react to the problems occurring at SVB as the bank grew in size. The FDIC also stated similar themes about being slow to react to rising issues with Signature. In addition to the reports by the Fed and FDIC, a report released by the Government Accountability Office, a congressional watchdog, said regulators identified problems at both banks in recent years but didn’t escalate supervisory actions in time to prevent their failures. Regulators had the tools but didn’t act promptly or with enough speed to potentially prevent the collapse of these institutions.

Regulators in both reports called for revamping rules on how banks are monitored and regulated but clearly had the tools at their disposal to address the issues at both banks. The Fed goes after a 2018 bill that rolled back certain regulations in the 2010 Dodd-Frank bank bill. The 2018 bill allowed for banks under $250 billion in assets to be subjected to less stringent oversight by financial regulators. Randal Quarles, former Vice Chair for Supervision at the Fed disputed the Fed’s finding by saying the report “provides no evidence at all for what it describes as one of its main conclusions—that a ‘shift in the stance of supervisory policy’ impeded effective supervision of the bank.”

How Bidenomics Has Finally Defeated Reaganomics

May 4, 2023

The last thing many of us expected when Joe Biden became president was that he would be a revolutionary. But just over two years into Biden’s presidency, there is no doubt that he has done more to dramatically transform U.S. policy and thinking in more areas than any of his predecessors since Franklin Roosevelt.

America had failed to adequately invest in its infrastructure for over six decades when Biden made it a priority once again. Biden’s prioritized investment in combating climate change to a degree that no past administration ever did. On foreign policy, he executed the pivot away from a Middle East and terrorism focus to a long-term commitment to placing the Indo-Pacific region and our rivalry with China atop our list of priorities.

Remarkably, he did this while simultaneously handling the threats associated with Europe’s largest land war since World War II and reinvigorating America’s most important alliance, NATO, in a way few thought possible just years ago. He stopped the impetus toward isolation and inaction internationally of the presidencies that immediately preceded his.

What is more, none of the transformations cited above are actually the biggest the Biden administration has overseen.

Ford is losing roughly $60,000 for every electric vehicle sold

 May 4, 2023

Ford lost tens of thousands of dollars per electric vehicle sold in the first quarter of 2023, as the division remained on track for roughly $3 billion in yearly losses, according to the company’s Tuesday evening earnings report.

Ford’s electric vehicle division — which was separated from its traditional gas and professional-grade vehicle sales in a late March reorganization — lost $722 million in the first three months of 2023, while selling just 12,000 units, according to the company’s first quarter earnings report. This amounts to a roughly $60,167 loss for each vehicle sold, according to calculations made by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“Because the auto industry is very capital intensive and has high fixed costs that need to be spread out over thousands of units, it is not uncommon to have steep losses initially which are followed by profits,” Heritage Foundation economist E.J. Antoni told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Imagine, for instance, needing to retool a factory and rebuild an assembly line to build different vehicles. That is much more expensive than the revenue from the first few vehicles that are produced.”

Biden Set Up To Use Third Veto After Senate Deals Environmental Agenda A Blow

 May 4, 2023

With Republicans holding a slim majority in the House and a number of Democrats facing tough 2024 reelection fights, President Joe Biden is nearing yet another possible veto fight.

Congressional Republicans have been able to secure enough Democratic support to pass legislation on a number of fronts in recent months, including a measure ending the COVID-19 national emergency and rescinding a Washington, D.C., crime bill, though Biden declined to veto either. Biden has only issued two vetoes thus far in his presidency, both coming in recent months. The two share a common theme, as both bills he blocked would have hindered his administration’s environmental agenda.

The Constitution requires a two-thirds majority in both chambers to overrule a presidential veto, which Congress lacked in both cases.

The important lessons we can learn from 5 mothers in the Old Testament

May 4, 2023

When I think of important lessons I learn from the scriptures, prophets like Lehi, Nephi, Moroni, Moses, Noah, and Adam first come to mind. I love stories about prophets and the truths we learn from them. But when it comes to women in the scriptures, I have often felt that there are fewer examples to draw from. This is understandable—the scriptures were written in a different time and place, and so it’s unsurprising that we don’t know as much about the women from these time periods.

That being said, I wanted to take a deeper look at women in the scriptures and see what I could learn from them. Specifically, I wanted to research mothers in the scriptures—and I was shocked with how many I found. It’s impossible to cover them all here, but I hope this look at five mothers in the Old Testament can encourage us all to search more intentionally for women in the scriptures and appreciate what their important stories can teach us.

Eve

In his October 1987 general conference address, President Russell M. Nelson gave a talk during the women’s session called “Lessons from Eve.” Speaking of how Christ created the earth under the direction of Heavenly Father, President Nelson said:

“As Michael, Adam did his part. He became the first man. But, in spite of the power and glory of creation to that point, the final link in the chain of creation was still missing. All the purposes of the world and all that was in the world would be brought to naught without woman—a keystone in the priesthood arch of creation.”

‘Let’s Do Some Simple Math’: Sen. Cruz Torches Jean-Pierre For Claiming Illegal Immigration Is Down 90%

May 4, 2023

Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas ripped White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre Tuesday for claiming illegal immigration decreased 90% under President Joe Biden.

Jean-Pierre made the claim that illegal immigration declined by 90% under the Biden administration during Monday’s press briefing. The Biden administration is deploying 1,500 troops to the border to prepare for a potential surge in illegal immigrants following the planned May 11 end to the use of Title 42, a policy used during the Trump administration to quickly expel illegal immigrants, a U.S. official previously confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“Let’s do some simple math. In the year 2020, the last year of the Trump presidency, we had the lowest rate of illegal immigration in 45 years. We were, achieving incredible success in securing our border,” Cruz told Fox Business Network host Larry Kudlow. “Joe Biden came in. He opened up the border and within days of his being sworn in the numbers skyrocketed. We have today, we went from the lowest rate of illegal immigration to the highest rate in history.”

Over 1.2 million illegal immigrants have been encountered at the U.S.-Mexico border during fiscal year 2023, according to data released by United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP), following 2,378,944 encounters in fiscal year 2022 and 1,734,686 in fiscal year 2021. Another 600,000 migrants evaded CBP in fiscal year 2022, Fox News reported.

CBP encountered 458,088 illegal migrants in fiscal year 2020, the last full year of the Trump administration.

Jean-Pierre repeated the claim Tuesday when pressed by Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy.

“You said yesterday that when it comes to illegal migration, you’ve seen it come down by more than 90%,” Doocy asked Jean-Pierre. “Where did that number come from? Because CBP is telling us that number is 136,000 people more-”

Jean-Pierre cut Doocy off, accusing him of using “dramatics” while questioning her.

“I was speaking to the parolee program. As you know, the president put in place a parolee program to deal with certain countries on ways we can limit illegal migration,” Jean Pierre said. “And we have seen, the data has shown, that it has gone down by more than 90%. That’s what I was speaking to.”

“She says that all the time,” Cruz said about Jean-Pierre’s claim. “She’s also stood at the podium and said ‘people are not just walking across the border.’ You’re playing next to me videos of people swimming across the river, walking across the border. You’re playing that right now. She just flat-out lies.”

All the President’s Islamists

May 4, 2023

In 2014, Abdullah Hasan was a recipient of the CAIR-SFBA Islamic Scholarship Fund. He went on to defend BDS for the ACLU. Now he’s an assistant press secretary at the White House.CAIR is an Islamist organization that was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in one of the largest terror financing trials in America. Its founders were linked to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, and it has opposed efforts to protect the United States against Islamic terrorism.“Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant,” CAIR co-founder Omar Ahmad had declared. When Hasan received his scholarship in 2014-2015, the Islamic Scholarship Fund’s board members included Hatem Bazian, one of the country’s most notorious Islamic bigots, the co-founder of Students for Justice in Palestine, and an alleged supporter of Hamas, who has spent decades trafficking in antisemitism.

A new survey explores how and where Americans seek divine connection — and who they pray for

May 4, 2023

Americans today may spend less time in houses of worship than they once did, but many still regularly try to connect with the divine, according to new research on religious and spiritual habits.

The survey, which was released Thursday on the National Day of Prayer, showed that 85% of Americans participate in some kind of spiritual practice, with the most common being prayer.

More than 6 in 10 survey respondents (61%) said they pray, while 39% said they practice meditation. Millennials and members of Gen Z were more likely than older adults to meditate or engage in other mindfulness practices.

The new survey, which was conducted by City Square Associates on behalf of Skylight, an initiative of the Radiant Foundation, was fielded online from April 6-12, 2023, among 1,783 U.S. adults. The margin of error for the full sample is plus or minus 2 percentage points.

Skylight’s mission is to use technology to help young people embrace God-centered spiritual habits. Like the Deseret News, it’s part of Deseret Management Corporation.

DHS Invites Communist State Sponsor of Terrorism to Tour U.S. Maritime Security Facilities

May 4, 2023

As if the Mexican border crisis were not sufficiently compromising national security, the Biden administration invited officials from a communist country that appears on the government’s list of state terrorism sponsors to tour sensitive U.S. maritime security facilities. The bizarre secret jaunt was scheduled last week to grant a delegation from Cuba’s Border Guard and Ministry of Foreign Affairs access to the nation’s Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington D.C. as well as port facilities in Wilmington, North Carolina. Cuba appears on the State Department list of terrorist nations along with Syria, Iran, and North Korea. Cuba has a long history of providing advice, safe haven, communications, training, and financial support to guerrilla groups and individual terrorists, according to the State Department. Furthermore, Cuba maintains close and collaborative ties with designated state sponsors of terror such as Iran and North Korea and the communist island harbors multiple fugitives who committed or supported acts of terrorism in the United States.

It makes no sense for any administration, Democrat or Republican, to grant an adversary with a history like Cuba’s access to essential Homeland Security facilities, especially at a time when the country is getting slammed with unknown foreigners entering illegally in droves. Apparently, the excursion was part of the International Port Security Program, which seeks to reduce risk to U.S. maritime interests, including American ports and ships, and facilitate secure maritime trade globally in partnership with global maritime trading partners. “Through international port visits, the discussion and sharing of port security best practices and the development of mutual interests in securing ships coming to the United States enhance both U.S. port security and the security of the global maritime transportation system,” according to the U.S. Coast Guard’s description of the program.

Biden Regime Scheming with Environmentalists to Unleash Backdoor Ban on Hunting and Fishing Across Parts of America

 May 4, 2023

The Biden Regime’s quest to restrict the rights of American citizens never takes a day off. Their next mission is to take away your right to hunt and fish.

Fox News reported the regime is colluding with radical environmental groups to put this scheme into motion. Here is some background via Fox News:

In 2021, the Center for Biological Diversity — an influential environmental group with assets exceeding $40 million that advocates for stringent federal wildlife protections — sued the federal government over a Trump administration rule expanding hunting and fishing on 2.3 million acres across 147 wildlife refuges and national fish hatcheries.

Instead of defending the rule, the Biden administration asked the court to delay proceedings in the case in February 2022, and in November agreed to a settlement with the Center for Biological Diversity that stipulated the government would take wide-ranging steps to protect wildlife “harmed by expanded hunting and fishing” on national wildlife refuges.

Under the settlement, the Federal Fish and Wildlife Services promised to expand lead ammunition prohibitions across various federal refuge properties beginning in 2026 as part of the 2023-2024 annual rule expected to be proposed in May.
