The explosive new evidence of Biden family's breathtaking corruption

May 14, 2023

The alleged actions of Joe Biden may rise to the level of an impeachable offense

The sheer magnitude of Biden family corruption uncovered by the House Oversight Committee can only be described as breathtaking. It is also deeply alarming. If the fruits of Chairman James Comer’s investigation are exactly what they appear to be, Joe Biden may have jeopardized our nation’s security by selling out America for cold hard cash.

Documents show that over $10 million in foreign money flowed like a river into more than 20 shell companies and LLCs created for the Bidens’ financial benefit, said Comer. Much of it was then surreptitiously shuffled around various accounts before it landed in the hands of nine members of the president’s family. Those companies have no apparent business purpose other than to serve as a receptacle for hiding cash derived from suspected influence peddling schemes overseas.

Fed Governor Waller casts doubt on need to conduct climate change tests for banks

May 12, 2023

Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller on Thursday cast doubt on the need for special focus on how banks are preparing for climate change risks.

While acknowledging the risks that climate change poses, he said catastrophic events like hurricanes and floods don’t generally reverberate across the U.S. economy. Thus, he said that conducting special tests for how banks are preparing for such events probably shouldn’t fall under the Fed’s purview.

“I don’t see a need for special treatment for climate-related risks in our financial stability monitoring and policies,” Waller said in the prepared remarks for a speech in Madrid. “Based on what I’ve seen so far, I believe that placing an outsized focus on climate-related risks is not needed, and the Federal Reserve should focus on more near-term and material risks in keeping with our mandate.”

A Banking Crisis Shouldn’t Be the Taxpayer’s Problem.

May 12, 2023

Chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Chase, Jamie Dimon wrote shareholders about banking turmoil, “As I write this letter, the current crisis is not yet over, and even when it is behind us, there will be repercussions from it for years to come.”

IGI Global defines a banking crisis:

1. Banking crisis reflects the crisis of liquidity and insolvency of one or more banks in the financial system. Due to bank’s sizable losses, bank encounters critical liquidity shortage…disrupting its ability in repaying the debt contracts and the withdrawals demanded by depositors.

2. A subset of financial crises that are felt acutely within the banking sector…having national and international implications wherein either the given capital of the banking system is practically exhausted,…or where the cost of resolving the problems of a financial system amounts to at least 3-5% of the national Gross Domestic Product.

Banks lose billions on high-risk investments, creating a tsunami of economic problems. Private businesses fail all the time. Why is the banking system treated differently?

Biden green-lights aggressive power plant emissions restrictions, hamstringing fossil fuel generation

May 12, 2023

Prematurely retiring coal-fired power plants will 'exacerbate the risk of power outages,' power industry group says

The Biden administration unveiled highly-anticipated regulations targeting fossil fuel-fired power plant emissions in an action it said would improve public health, but lead to higher electricity prices.

The new carbon pollution standards — published Thursday morning by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) — would mainly impact coal- and natural gas-fired power plants and curb carbon dioxide emissions by about 617 million metric tons through 2042, the equivalent carbon footprint of 137 million passenger vehicles, according to the agency.

EPA's regulations are projected to have "climate and health benefits" worth $85 billion and reduce ther amount of air pollutants and soot in the air.

Investigators unearth evidence CIA, Antony Blinken played deceptive politics on Hunter Biden laptop

May 12, 2023

From its inception in 1947, the CIA has been barred from spying on Americans, conducting internal security functions or meddling in U.S. domestic affairs. As recently as last week, Secretary of State Antony Blinken was insisting he is apolitical too. "From my perspective, I'm not not engaging in politics," America's top diplomat declared.

Both of those long-held claims are directly challenged by a new joint investigative report set to be released Wednesday by the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees that traces the origins of the now-infamous letter signed in fall 2020 by 51 U.S. intelligence pros who falsely discredited Hunter Biden's laptop in the final days of the 2020 election as Russian disinformation.

Washington Democrat Governor Inslee Signs Controversial Bill Allowing Government to Take Away Minors From Parents If They Refuse to Agree to Gender Transition Surgery

May 12, 2023

On Tuesday, Governor Jay Inslee (D-WA) signed the controversial Senate Bill 5599 introduced by State Sen. Marko Liias (D-Everett), which allows the state to legally take children away from their parents if they don’t consent to their child’s gender transition surgeries or abortion.

Washington state’s current law requires that any youth shelter where a child seeks refuge must notify their parents or guardians within 24 to 72 hours. However, the state law allows them to not tell the parents or legal guardians if they have “compelling reasons” to believe that doing so would put the kid in danger of abuse or neglect.

The newly signed law will allow the government to hide the whereabouts of runaway children who claim to be seeking sex changes or abortions. Meaning, no one can protest the “state-sanctioned kidnapping of children.”

Senate Bill 5599 will remove parents from the health and mental health care decision-making process of their children.

The Medlock Post Ep. 148: A Tribute to Mothers

 May 11, 2023

Neal A. Maxwell:

“When the real history of mankind is fully disclosed, will it feature the echoes of gunfire or the shaping sound or lullabies? Or the great armistice made by military men or the peacemaking of women in homes and in neighborhoods? Will what happened in cradles and kitchens prove to be more controlling than what happened in congress? When the surf of the centuries has made the great pyramids so much sand, the everlasting family will still be standing.  The women of God know this.”

Hemingway: The People Who Are Running Things Are Running Things Into A Ditch

May 10, 2023

“The propaganda press was basically able to sustain an image that things were going all right for a few years, and now the wheels are just coming off the train,” said Federalist Editor-in-Chief Mollie Hemingway. “People are understanding the problems caused by the economic management by the Biden administration.”

“I don’t even think they necessarily think that Biden is the one running things,” Hemingway told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham. “The people who are running things are running things into a ditch. There’s no escaping that, no matter how much corrupt media you have.”

Tory Autocracy

May 10, 2023

The Right should reclaim the populist ground that enabled its biggest victories.

Over the past century, and even before, conservative political movements thrived by challenging the Left’s appeal to the working and middle class. Virtually all the successful movements on the democratic Right—Disraeli’s Tory Democracy to Thatcherism, Reaganism, and even Trumpism—won by establishing a link between conservative policies and upward mobility. Conservatives have done best when they have met the challenge first posed by social democrats.

Biden’s Border Chief Says He Can’t Explain Border Rush

May 10, 2023

President Joe Biden’s border chief says he can’t explain why hundreds of thousands of migrants are rushing over the border he is tasked to guard.

“Can you explain why you’ve seen this big surge [of migrants] in the last couple of weeks?” border chief Alejandro Mayorkas was asked on Friday, just six days before he lifts the Title 42 border barrier.

“It’s very difficult to identify the cause,” the pro-migration border chief responded to the reporter.

However, a Venezuelan migrant named Daniel told the May 7 New York Times why he and many other Venezuelans are sneaking into the United States: “We just want to work.”

“The goal was to provide for the children a quality life and educational opportunities,” Venezuelan Abel Oviedo told TexasTribune.org. He had settled in Colombia, and then moved to Peru, but started his family’s migration in late 2022. “I’m a hard worker,” Oviedo said.

Why It’s Time to Treat Communist Symbols Like the Swastika

May 10, 2023

If someone were to ask you to think of either extreme of the political spectrum, odds are you would immediately picture a swastika at one end, and a hammer and sickle at the other. Regardless of your views of the left-right paradigm, or whether you subscribe to horseshoe theory or not, we (rightfully) tend to perceive fascism and communism as the standard ideologies of the extreme.

As such, many of us would also feel rather uneasy seeing those two symbols. Upon seeing a swastika, we are immediately reminded of the evils of the Nazi regime, and are accordingly repulsed. To publicly display the logo is even a crime in many European countries. We understand how abhorrent the ideology is, and treat it accordingly with disrespect and disgust.

Illegal Immigration Destroys Sovereignty

May 10, 2023

Our ruling classes reject our right to govern ourselves.

Controversy about immigration in America is as old as the nation itself. The Declaration of Independence presents as one of the “Facts…submitted to a candid world” that “the present King of Great Britain” intends to establish “an absolute Tyranny over these States” because he has obstructed “Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migration hither.”

The Declaration had proclaimed that “the Laws of nature and of Nature’s God” entitled the American people to assume, “among the Powers of the earth,” a “separate and equal” sovereign nation. This nation would be based on the “consent of the governed” and dedicated to the proposition that “all men are created equal.” The clear message conveyed by the Declaration was that a sovereign nation-state has plenary power over matters of citizenship and immigration.
