Saving the U.S. Constitution, Part I

The American giant towers over the world in its physical strength, greater than that of all the rest of the nations put together. But something is wrong with America.

At this high moment of history when the task of world leadership has been thrust upon us, we stand confused, reluctant, hesitant, and ineffectual. We are no longer certain what we stand for, and this, I believe, is because we have forgotten the circumstances surrounding the birth of our nation. . . . For decades it has been popular in America for the cynical intellectuals to sneer and scoff at what we call the traditions of Americanism. The instruments of this sabotage are words and thoughts — plausible half-truths, sly appeals to that spark of larceny that lurks in every human heart, subtle suggestions of an atheistic nature, and the careful nurturing of a patronizing attitude toward everything America has held to be fine and sacred. The people who planted these words and thoughts may have been either stupid or vicious, fools or foreign agents, smart-alecks, or cunning organizers.

What they were does not now matter—the thing that does matter is to counteract what they have done. Everybody in every position of leadership has to get into this act because the damage has affected every phase of our lives. The places in which this sabotage occurred were the schools, the churches, the communist-dominated labor halls, the lecture platforms, the motion pictures, the stage, the pages of our newspapers and magazines, and the radio. Every means of communication has been utilized against us. . . . The man (or nation) who has a plan—a way of life—in which he believes, has mental security. To destroy this security, one must destroy that man’s faith in his plan. Reliance on a code of life which, if held in common with one’s fellow men, brings peace of mind, develops the abilities of the group. . . . The degree to which the American code of life has been weakened can best be demonstrated by simply calling attention to the degree to which the foundation of that code has been weakened. Many people become self-conscious when discussing this foundation: I am not one of those people. That foundation (and of this there cannot be the slightest shadow of a doubt) is made up of the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule. Within this moral code, we have a complete way of life. Acceptance of these precepts takes care of every phase of human life—spiritual, political, social, and economic. . . . America was a nation of people who had faith in their political and economic systems because they had faith in God, and had built those systems around the teachings of God. Every collectivist from Karl Marx to Stalin has agreed that faith in God must be destroyed before socialism can take over.

Therefore, it was obvious that the problem of sabotaging America’s faith in America was the problem of transferring the people’s faith in God to faith in the State. That thing called morality in politics, business, and private contracts, had to be broken down. To an increasing extent the American people have come to look upon morality as an old-fashioned superstition. Religion has for many church members become a safe way of dying rather than a good way of living. . . . There are many who tell us that all this is a waste of time—that the process of socialism cannot be reversed; that once it is started it must run its course. This we do not believe—we consider it part of the fake propaganda that is poisoning our will to resist. Our first-hand experience with millions of typical Americans convinces us that there is nothing wrong with America that the truth will not correct. We must be militant.

We are no longer fighting to defend a way of life—we are fighting to get it back. Our problem is a counterrevolution. In this fight we are not going to get any important help from any political party—the politicians have been giving the people the kind of government the people say they want, and the policies in Washington will not change until the people change. And that is the job of people who know the truth and love it enough to spread it. This must be a crusade—the greatest crusade in history. Those who take part are called hard names—reactionaries, Fascists, professional patriots, apologists for special privilege, and many others. These smears are also a part of the enemy’s strategy. Our forefathers who fought the first revolution were also smeared. They too were told that they were wasting their time and their fortunes on a hopeless adventure. It would have been much easier for them to go along with the established order and try in some way or other to buy their freedom instead of fighting for it. But unlike many people today, they preferred to fight. How many people do you know today who are sitting back, confident that their bank accounts will in one way or another protect them and their families from the creeping tyranny of strong central government? That is what people [in pre-World War II] thought in Italy, in Germany, in New Zealand, in Australia, and still later, in England. All they did was put off the hour of decision and weaken their power to fight back. In America people now console themselves with the idea that it can never happen here. It seems to them unreal that people with good old-fashioned American names and fine-looking American faces could exercise the tyrannies that have always been identified with bombs, daggers, whiskers, and unpronounceable syllables. But the fact remains that it is already beginning. Most of the instruments of tyranny are already on the statute books. The means of freedom’s destruction are already in the hands of the Federal administration. You say that no administration would dare use them? All history is against that answer—in the long run, power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. It always has and it always will. Our best weapon is truth—we must start using it. And we must do it while there is still time.

Where the Star and Stripes and the Eagles Fly

"On April 1, 1789, almost 10 months after the US Constitution was ratified, Frederick Muhlenberg is elected the first Speaker of the House of Representatives by the First Congress meeting in New York City. After the Constitution was ratified, the federal government of the United States made its first home in New York City. On April 1, 1789, the House of Representatives had enough members present to begin and elect its first officers. Frederick Augustus Conrad Muhlenberg, a Lutheran minister, businessman and politician from Pennsylvania, was chosen as the first Speaker of the House.

Thus began the creation of a country that gained a momentum very fast because of the virtue of the people and the spirit of freedom that was unleashed.  For the next 125 years America grew and prospered and became the greatest nation on the face of the earth.  In those 125 years America did face challenges.  We fought the War of 1812.  We fought the Civil War, brother against brother.  But America, through We the People, gained its momentum again and again to continue to grow and prosper.  And will continue to do so.

America's greatness influenced many nations around the world. And because of that influence, many nations developed their own democracies or republics by copying the United States Constitution.

You're probably asking the question, why does he use the 125 years?  Because in 1913, Congress passed three bills that started to affect the American way of life and its momentum. They created the Federal Reserve, the 17th Amendment to the Constitution, and created the Internal Revenue Service.  We will address these three issues during another Medlock's Minute.

With this short history lesson, it leads me to ask the question, “What can we do to regain America's momentum?” I think everyone will agree that in the last 15 months, America has lost some of its momentum. And we might add another question, “What can we do to regain our Patriotic momentum?”

George Washington said this “The general government can never be in danger of degenerating into a despotic or oppressive form so long as there shall remain any virtue in the body of the people.”

Samuel Adams added to that, “If we would most truly enjoy the gift of heaven, let us become a virtuous people; then shall we both deserve and enjoy it. Wow, on the other hand, if we are universally vicious and debauched in our manners, though the form of our constitution carries the face of the most exalted freedom, we shall in reality be the most abject slaves.”

Therefore, virtue in the minds of the founding fathers meant placing the interest of country before the interest of self. Frugality, industry, temperance, and good moral character were essential characteristics to maintain the spirit of unity and solidarity among the nation. The Founding Fathers recognized the fact that there could be no Republic without virtue.  They further understood that developing Self-Discipline leads to Self-Mastery. 

Next, we can put away all contention in our hearts. What do I mean by that?  There are forces out there that are trying to cause contention and hatred among different groups. Whether it be because of skin color or class, rich or poor, different nationalities, or different religious beliefs, the battle is raging.  But We the People as individuals and families, should be putting these contentions out of our heart.  This is very important in gaining a new American and Patriotic momentum.

Another suggestion is this.  “Seek Truth and Heed Not” to the false and evil influences in the world today. Do not listen to those voices of chaos. Do not listen to the false propaganda that is being thrown at us to confuse us. Look at the way that you think and understand things. And if you need to make a change, make that change. But we need to “heed not” to the false, the evil, the chaos and the hatred that is taking place in the world.  Seek Truth always.

Look at the world with the heart and eyes of a child and life will become more beautiful.

Drill Baby, Drill!



MASSIVE U.S. OIL SUPPLY
About 6 months ago, there was a news program on oil and one of The Forbes Bros. was the guest. The host said to Forbes, "I am going to ask you a direct question and I would like a direct answer; how much oil does the U.S. Have in the ground?" Forbes did not miss a beat, he said, "More than all the Middle East put Together."
The U.S. Geological Service issued a report in April 2008 that only Scientists and oil men knew was coming, but man was it big. It was a revised report (hadn't been updated since 1995) on how much oil was in this area of the western 2/3 of North Dakota, western South Dakota, and Extreme eastern Montana.

The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska's Prudhoe Bay and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable (5 Billion barrels), at $107 a barrel, we're looking at a resource base worth more than $5.3 trillion. "When I first briefed legislators on this, you could practically see their Jaws hit the floor.
They had no idea." says Terry Johnson, the Montana Legislature's financial analyzer. "This sizable find is now the highest-producing onshore oil field found in the past 56 years,” reports The Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
It's a formation known as the Williston Basin but is more commonly referred to as the 'Bakken.' It stretches from Northern Montana, through North Dakota and into Canada. For years, U.S. Oil exploration has been considered a dead end. Even the 'Big Oil' companies gave up searching for major oil wells decades ago.
However, a recent technological breakthrough has opened up the Bakken's Massive reserves, And, we now have access of up to 500 billion barrels. And because this is Light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16 PER BARREL!!!!! That's enough crude to fully fuel the American economy for 2041 years Straight. And if THAT didn't throw you on the floor, then this next one should - Because it's from 2006!
U.S. Oil Discovery - Largest Reserve in the World Stansberry Report Online - 4/20/2006. Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface of the Rocky Mountains lies the Largest untapped oil reserve in the world. It is more than 2 TRILLION barrels. On August 8, 2005 President Bush Mandated its extraction. In many recent years of high oil prices none has been extracted. With this mother lode of oil why are we still fighting over off-shore Drilling?
They reported this stunning news: We have more oil inside our borders, than all the other proven reserves on Earth.
Here are the official estimates:
8 times as much oil as Saudi Arabia
18 times as much oil as Iraq
21 times as much oil as Kuwait
22 times as much oil as Iran
500 times as much oil as Yemen
And it's all right here in the Western United States !
HOW can this BE? HOW can we NOT BE extracting this? Because the Environmentalists and others have blocked all efforts to help America become Independent of foreign oil! Again, we are letting a small group of people Dictate our lives and our economy. WHY?
James Bartis, lead researcher with the study says we've got more oil in this very compact area than the entire Middle East, more than 2 TRILLION barrels Untapped. That's more than all the proven oil reserves of crude oil in the World today, reports The Denver Post.
Don't think 'OPEC' will drop its price even with this find? Think again! It's all about the competitive marketplace. Think OPEC just might be funding the environmentalists?

The Great American Revival of 2022

 


“Welcome 2022. A new year that can bring many changes for good as we do what is right and stand up for moral standards.  Stay strong in your beliefs and faith.”  Richard Medlock

Many media pundits and politicians like to refer to the “Great Global Reset” when they talk about plans to destroy the American way of life.  But, instead of talking about that Reset, our conversations and actions should focus on the “Great American Revival”.

America and We the People need to Return to the Basics.  Remember the phrase we used to use all the time, KISS?  “Keep It Simple Stupid”.  That way of thinking needs to return because it proved to be very successful in planning, understanding, and progress.  When ideas and discussions become too complicated, confusion and chaos develop.  Unfortunately, that’s where we are in America today.  And many believe by design.

Here are nine ways that We the People can successfully bring about the “Great American Revival”.

1. The Ten Commandments: They are as meaningful today as when Moses received them on the mount.  By applying them in our lives, we will find strength to fight the good fight.  Take the time to ponder how these laws and principles have been perverted and ignored.  Then think of ways how they can become a stronger influence in American Society.

You shall have no other gods before Me.

You shall make no idols.

You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.

Keep the Sabbath day holy.

Honor your father and your mother.

You shall not murder.

You shall not commit adultery.

You shall not steal.

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

You shall not covet.

2. Parents, make your children and family a high priority in your life.

“The home is the most effective place to learn the lessons of life; truth, honor, virtue, self-control, the value of education, honest work, and the purpose and privilege of life.  Nothing can take the place of home in rearing and teaching children, and no other success can compensate for failure in the home.” David O. McKay

3. Study and understand the United States Constitution.  Know and understand where our freedoms come from and how we can successfully defend them.

4. Follow the admonition of the Founding Fathers.

An old adage: “A people must from time to time, refresh themselves at the wellspring of their origin, lest they perish.”

5. Maintaining our Freedoms should be a High Priority.

Peter Marshall said “May we think of freedom, not to do as we please, but an opportunity to do what is right.”

6. Do not allow the enemies of America and Freedom to dominate the debate.

Patrick Henry “Is life so dear or peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?  Forbid it, Almighty God.  I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me Liberty or Give me Death!

Be the louder voice for Freedom, Virtue, Values, and Moral Principles.

7. Stand up against undesirable elected persons and elect moral people.

Today we have become a nation of “rule by man”.  It has been said that many political leaders think they know more than God.  When men become a “law unto themselves” only evil will prevail.  This is not the American way.  Our Founding Fathers warned us of this happening and gave us the way to correct the problem.

“A body of men holding themselves accountable to nobody ought not to be trusted by anybody.”  Thomas Paine

8. Place “Providence or God” at the head of our families, counsels, schools. courts, and assemblies.

John Quincy Adams said “From the day of the Declaration … the American people were bound by the laws of God, which they all, and by the laws of the gospel, which they nearly all acknowledged as the rules of their conduct.”

9. Develop and maintain a “High Degree of Hope”.  America is not lost.  Who and what is lost are the leaders elected to govern and those that have decided to follow a false ideology.  America is still standing because of faithful We the People.

America is at war with forces to destroy good and right.  Our battles are moving forward and gaining ground as more Americans have decided to Stand Up and Speak UpThomas Paine was correct when he said, “Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigue of defending it.”

We the People are the Defenders of Freedom, Liberty, and Justice.  We must decide not to grow weary or become fatigued in the good fight.  Carry On with Strength and Foresight!

Lincoln’s Total War

Let us look at what we have learned. The need to have a proper understanding of what is commonly, but erroneously referred to as the Civil War has a direct relationship to critical issues facing us today. Americans are used to thinking that upon the ratification of the Constitution, our Republic was established and has remained inviolate since that time; that it was “saved” by Abraham Lincoln in a victorious war waged by the noble and patriotic Union over the traitorous and wicked slave-masters of the South. But we must remember that the war not only ended the South’s attempt at secession—a right guaranteed under that same Constitution—but also in large part, ended the Republic as it was set up under that Constitution by the Founders. For the Republic of 1789 was, for all intents and purposes, the first of many American nations. In 1865, the victory of the national government over the States—and not just the Southern States!—in the Civil War initiated a series of subsequent “virtual nations,” each with a central government more powerful than the one that preceded it. Let us trace this evolutionary path:
1779: The power of the Sovereign States is supreme; these are individual nations as admitted in the Treaty of Paris; the new nation governs through the Articles, first of Association and then of Confederation indicating a growing desire to work towards a perfection of their not yet completed union.
1789: The power of the States dominates but a Federal Government outside of the States is created by the Constitution, a compact that replaces the Articles. This government has enumerated and limited powers in order to address those situations beyond the scope of individual States even acting in concert.
1861: With the States (and culture) of the South confined within its original geographic borders, the power of the rest of the Union has grown to the point at which these States are able to force their will on the Southern States, using the income generated in those States to succor and support the rest. American manufacturing is supported by monies raised by high tariffs that hurt most of all the agricultural South without any compensation to those States. This situation was defined by Missouri Senator Thomas H. Benton in 1828—three decades before the Cotton States acted to escape political and financial servitude. Speaking on the floor of the Senate Benton stated:
“Before the (American) revolution [the South] was the seat of wealth … Wealth has fled from the South and settled in regions north of the Potomac: and this in the face of the fact, that the South … has exported produce, since the Revolution, to the value of eight hundred millions of dollars; and the North has exported comparatively nothing. Such an export would indicate unparalleled wealth, but what is the fact? … Under Federal legislation, the exports of the South have been the basis of the Federal revenue …Virginia, the two Carolinas, and Georgia, may be said to defray three-fourths of the annual expense of supporting the Federal Government; and of this great sum, annually furnished by them, nothing or next to nothing is returned to them, in the shape of Government expenditures. That expenditure flows northwardly, in one uniform, uninterrupted, and perennial stream. This is the reason why wealth disappears from the South and rises up in the North. Federal legislation does all this!”
1865: The Federal Government triumphs in war over those States wishing to exercise what had been recognized as their rights under the Constitution to leave the original union and form a new one of their own choosing. This military victory carried forth in the name of that government – Lincoln never spoke of the Union, but of the “government” – overturns the Constitution of 1789 and replaces it with a “constitutional understanding” in which the Federal Government is dominant over all the States and not just those it had defeated in war. This situation reflects the new reality begun decades before the War involving an alliance of commerce with the expanded coercive power of the central government in order to facilitate their respective agendas: profit and power.
1933: The power of the Central Government is now invulnerable; the States serve as mere counties able to exercise power only at the local level. The “emergencies” of World War I, the Great Depression and the Second World War further strengthen its power, permitting programs such as the New Deal and other direct intrusions into the lives of the People over which the States have neither control nor influence.
1965: The power of the National Government is now absolute; what little power remains to the States is further marginalized. Federal affiliation with the civil rights movement and social programs such as the Great Society solidify central power while further reducing what small powers had remained in the States. More and more formerly state matters—such as crime—are removed from local and State purview to federal control. Less than ten years later, the Supreme Court strikes down all State legislation rulings on abortion by declaring the killing of children in the womb a “constitutional right.” All efforts to affect this finding by the States or the People are dismissed out of hand. Also at this point, large lobbying groups in both the public and private sectors wield more power at the federal level than do the formerly sovereign States much less the People.
2008: The Federal System, long existing in name only is finally abandoned. Both the States and the People are powerless in the grip of a government that no longer recognizes even a remnant of the Constitution and the Founding Principles. Still, many Americans continue to believe that the Republic still exists and in the name of Washington, Jefferson and the Constitution they work to influence a situation that has deteriorated to the point at which the establishment of an actual police state seems not a question of “if,” but of “when.”
2021: Today there is an ongoing powerful and ubiquitous effort to finally, once and for all, consign to oblivion the ideas and ideals that drove the People of the South to secede from a union they considered antithetical to the well-being of their people—ideas and ideals which they continue to boldly declare through the use of Confederate symbols, monuments and memorials. The fact that their cause is all but lost can be seen in the ongoing successful war against those same monuments and symbols.
Supporters of this crusade against the South—for this remains a religious war—declare that the killing of hundreds of thousands—perhaps as many as a million—Americans and the destruction of a people in the so-called Civil War was justified to end slavery, a claim that is demonstrably false. But even those who care nothing about the war, its origins or its meaning, revere Lincoln as a hero and a Savior of the nation. He was, we are endlessly told, America’s greatest President. Indeed, Lincoln’s monument is a temple fit for worship rather than a mere memorial. But those who justify Lincoln and what was done in the War of Secession with the plea that “it was necessary”—for whatever reason—justify every tyrant in history who has raped, pillaged, enslaved and slaughtered his way into power as well as every one who will rise in the future.
Embracing the motive for tyranny neither changes its moral dynamics nor its consequences. If we permit the final extermination of Southern heritage and the memory of those boys in gray who fought and died for their homes and their God-given liberties, we consign not just the South, but America, that great experiment, to oblivion.

A Note to Sane People
Critical things to think about in 2021.
I never dreamed that I would have to face the prospect of not living in the United States of America, at least not the one I have known all my life. I have never wished to live anywhere else. This is my home and I was privileged to be born here. But today I woke up and as I had my morning coffee, I realized that everything is changing for the worse. No matter how I vote, no matter what I say, no matter how much I pray, something evil has invaded our nation, and our lives are never going to be the same. I have been confused by the hostility of family and friends. I look at people I have known all my life--so hate-filled that they agree with opinions they would never express as their own. I think that I may well have entered the Twilight Zone. We have become a nation that has lost its collective mind!
You can't justify this insanity:
• If a guy pretends to be a woman, you are required to pretend with him.
• Somehow it’s un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America.
• Russians influencing our elections are bad, but illegals voting in our elections are good.
• It was cool for Joe Biden to "blackmail" the President of Ukraine.
• Twenty is too young to drink a beer, but eighteen is old enough to vote.
• People who have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves.
• People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans for their degrees.
• Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you’d better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated.
• Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate to the US must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate gang member or terrorist who jumps the southern fence is welcome.
• $5 billion for border security is too expensive, but $15 trillion for “free” health care is not.
• If you cheat to get into college you go to prison, but if you cheat to get into the country you go to college for free.
• If you cheat in an election nothing happens to you, but if you point out the mathematical errors of that election you are a conspiracy theorist & disdained.
• People who say there is no such thing as gender are demanding a female President.
• We see other countries going Socialist and collapsing, but it seems like a great plan for us.
• Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, and other people are not held responsible for what they are doing right now.
• Criminals are caught-and-released to hurt more people, but stopping them is bad because it's a violation of their rights.
• And pointing out all this hypocrisy somehow makes us "racists"?!
Wake up America, the great unsinkable ship Titanic America has hit an iceberg, it's taking on water, and is sinking fast. We Americans are drowning. Speak up while you still have breath and a voice for soon you will have neither if you don't!

The Meaning of The Pledge of Allegiance

"There is a lot of debate regarding the recitation of Pledge of Allegiance. Many Americans don’t say the Pledge and feel that it’s unnecessary even to stand up when the national anthem is being played. They defend themselves by saying that by not reciting the Pledge, they are not being anti-patriotic. According to them, standing or not standing; reciting or not reciting does not make them more or less of an American citizen.
On the other hand, some people find the words ‘under God’ objectionable. Atheists and non- Christian Americans state that they cannot recite ‘under God’, because it happens to be against their beliefs. Then, there are those people who believe that not saying the Pledge is a sign of disrespect to the country.
So sadly, we see people with different schools of thought debating and battling over the Pledge and forgetting the larger objective of standing together in unity as a nation. The controversies will go on, however, each American has the freedom to choose to recite the pledge or not. So it is up to each individual! is SO Important

Pledge of Allegiance to the United States flag, is a promise or oath of loyalty to the Republic of United States of America. The Pledge was originally written in August, 1892 by an American Baptist minister and social activist, Francis Bellamy.
Pledge of Allegiance was first published in 1892, in the September 8th edition of a Boston-based children magazine called ‘Youth’s Companion’. On October 12, 1892, it was first used during Columbus Day celebrations. The proclamation made by President Benjamin Harrison and over 12 million children recited the Pledge of Allegiance that day, thereby beginning a school day ritual. Since then, the Pledge is recited daily, by school children of all religious backgrounds across America.
The short, 15 second Pledge has an interesting history and since September 1892, the original Pledge has been altered several times, with the last addition being made in 1954 (addition of ‘under God’).
In accordance to the United States Flag Code, the pledge is to be recited by standing at attention; facing the flag and placing the right hand over the heart. People in uniform must face the flag, remain silent and take the military salute. Those not in uniform must remove any non-religious headdress with their right hand and place it on their left shoulder, in such a way that their right hand is over the heart.
Meaning of Pledge of Allegiance
Today, the words of the Pledge of Allegiance reads: I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

By reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, every American promises to be true to the United States of America. The freedom available will not be taken for granted and each American will remember the countless men, women and children who have given their lives through the centuries, so that they can live peacefully today.
Importance of Pledge of Allegiance
The Pledge of Allegiance is recited by school children of all religious backgrounds, across America on a daily basis. Daily recitation is done in order to honor the nation one is a part of every morning. However, the recitation is not compulsory, which means no punitive action will be taken against children who do not recite the pledge.
It is expected that those who abstain from reciting the pledge should be seated quietly, while the pledge is being said, thereby allowing the others to recite the Pledge. Besides schools, the pledge of allegiance is also recited during the opening of Congressional sessions and also in most local level Government meetings.
Unfortunately, most of those reciting the Pledge today are saying it blinding as a ritual, where children and adults alike, recite the words without actually understanding the meaning. Reciting the Pledge is not a compulsion, but a mark of patriotism to the country. It is an action that symbolizes one’s loyalty to the United States of America and the feeling that as an American, one is proud to be a part of this blessed country.
The Pledge is a proclamation stating that all Americans are unified, standing together as one nation and working together for the benefit of the country as a whole. The reason the pledge of allegiance is asked to be recited on a daily basis in schools, is because when a child recites the pledge everyday, he or she may be directed into thinking more deeply about its meaning and significance.
The Pledge of Allegiance is considered to be a platform where kids are given the opportunity to think about their roles as citizens in the country. Reciting the pledge stirs up curiosity regarding their country, thereby inculcating a feeling of patriotism in the long run. Of course, patriotism cannot be forced upon, which is why the recitation is not compulsory.
Teachers should explain the meaning of the pledge to the children in simple language, so that they understand what they are actually reciting every morning. It is important to prevent it from becoming another part of the humdrum of life.
There is a lot of debate regarding the recitation of Pledge of Allegiance. Many Americans don’t say the Pledge and feel that it’s unnecessary even to stand up when the national anthem is being played. They defend themselves by saying that by not reciting the Pledge, they are not being anti-patriotic. According to them, standing or not standing; reciting or not reciting does not make them more or less of an American citizen.
On the other hand, some people find the words ‘under God’ objectionable. Atheists and non- Christian Americans state that they cannot recite ‘under God’, because it happens to be against their beliefs. Then, there are those people who believe that not saying the Pledge is a sign of disrespect to the country.
So sadly, we see people with different schools of thought debating and battling over the Pledge and forgetting the larger objective of standing together in unity as a nation. The controversies will go on, however, each American has the freedom to choose to recite the pledge or not. So it is up to each individual!

The Meaning and The Why of the Preamble to the U. S Constitution

The Preamble of the U.S. Constitution
"The Preamble of the U.S. Constitution—the document’s famous first fifty-two words— introduces everything that is to follow in the Constitution’s seven articles and twenty-seven amendments. It proclaims who is adopting this Constitution: “We the People of the United States.” It describes why it is being adopted—the purposes behind the enactment of America’s charter of government. And it describes what is being adopted: “this Constitution”—a single authoritative written text to serve as fundamental law of the land. Written constitutionalism was a distinctively American innovation, and one that the framing generation considered the new nation’s greatest contribution to the science of government.
The word “preamble,” while accurate, does not quite capture the full importance of this provision. “Preamble” might be taken—we think wrongly—to imply that these words are merely an opening rhetorical flourish or frill without meaningful effect. To be sure, “preamble” usefully conveys the idea that this provision does not itself confer or delineate powers of government or rights of citizens. Those are set forth in the substantive articles and amendments that follow in the main body of the Constitution’s text. It was well understood at the time of enactment that preambles in legal documents were not themselves substantive provisions and thus should not be read to contradict, expand, or contract the document’s substantive terms.
But that does not mean the Constitution’s Preamble lacks its own legal force. Quite the contrary, it is the provision of the document that declares the enactment of the provisions that follow. Indeed, the Preamble has sometimes been termed the “Enacting Clause” of the Constitution, in that it declares the fact of adoption of the Constitution (once sufficient states had ratified it): “We the People of the United States . . . do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”
Importantly, the Preamble declares who is enacting this Constitution—the people of “the United States.” The document is the collective enactment of all U.S. citizens. The Constitution is “owned” (so to speak) by the people, not by the government or any branch thereof. We the People are the stewards of the U.S. Constitution and remain ultimately responsible for its continued existence and its faithful interpretation.
It is sometimes observed that the language “We the People of the United States” was inserted at the Constitutional Convention by the “Committee of Style,” which chose those words—rather than “We the People of the States of . . .”, followed by a listing of the thirteen states, for a simple practical reason: it was unclear how many states would actually ratify the proposed new constitution. (Article VII declared that the Constitution would come into effect once nine of thirteen states had ratified it; and as it happened two states, North Carolina and Rhode Island, did not ratify until after George Washington had been inaugurated as the first President under the Constitution.) The Committee of Style thus could not safely choose to list all of the states in the Preamble. So they settled on the language of both “We the People of the United States.”
Nonetheless, the language was consciously chosen. Regardless of its origins in practical considerations or as a matter of “style,” the language actually chosen has important substantive consequences. “We the People of the United States” strongly supports the idea that the Constitution is one for a unified nation, rather than a treaty of separate sovereign states. (This, of course, had been the arrangement under the Articles of Confederation, the document the Constitution was designed to replace.) The idea of nationhood is then confirmed by the first reason recited in the Preamble for adopting the new Constitution—“to form a more perfect Union.” On the eve of the Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln invoked these words in support of the permanence of the Union under the Constitution and the unlawfulness of states attempting to secede from that union.
The other purposes for adopting the Constitution, recited by the Preamble— to “establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity”—embody the aspirations that We the People have for our Constitution, and that were expected to flow from the substantive provisions that follow. The stated goal is to create a government that will meet the needs of the people.
As noted, the Preamble’s statements of purpose do not themselves grant powers or confer rights; the substantive provisions in the main body of the Constitution do that. There is not, for example, a general government power to do whatever it judges will “promote the general Welfare.” The national government’s powers are specified in Article I and other provisions of the Constitution, not the Preamble. Congress has never relied on the Preamble alone as the basis for a claimed power to enact a law, and the Supreme Court has never relied on the Preamble as the sole basis for any constitutional decision. Still, the declared purposes for the Constitution can assist in understanding, interpreting, and applying the specific powers listed in the articles, for the simple reason that the Constitution should be interpreted in a manner that is faithful to its purposes.
Finally, the Preamble declares that what the people have ordained and established is “this Constitution”—referring, obviously enough, to the written document that the Preamble introduces. That language is repeated in the Supremacy Clause of Article VI, which declares that “this Constitution” shall be the supreme law for the entire nation. The written nature of the Constitution as a single binding text matters and was important to the framing generation. The U.S. Constitution contrasts with the arrangement of nations like Great Britain, whose “constitution” is a looser collection of written and unwritten traditions constituting the established practice over time. America has a written constitution, not an unwritten one. The boundaries of what may be said and done in the name of the Constitution are marked by the words, phrases, and structure of the document itself. To be sure, there are disputes over what those words mean and how they are to be applied. But the enterprise of written constitutionalism is, at its core, the faithful interpretation and application of a written document adopted by the people as supreme law: “this Constitution for the United States of America.”

CDC INTERNMENT CAMPS FOR THE UNVACCINATED?

The picture posted with this article was created by me on August 9, 2021 and posted on social media.  The two pictures inserted are of World War II internment camps in the United States for Japanese American citizens.  The talk at that time by the government and media was about the bad and unworthy unvaccinated who are killing innocent people.  It was obvious where they were going with this non-sense. Thereby the creation of the above picture.

The next day, August 10, 2021, an article appeared that discussed the very subject by the CDC of camps for the high-risk people.  Read the study for yourself at this link.  Notice the date on the CDC study.  It is July 26, 2020.  Surprised anyone?

With the government edict yesterday, we are Witnessing the Epitome of Socialism in America.  Yet another attempt by the Democratic Socialists to undermine the United States Constitution and dilute the American Society of Freedom and Liberty. 

Yesterday September 9, 2021, Joe Biden issued an “order or mandate” to American citizens and corporations.  That “order or mandate” was a bold statement that the current government controlling the United States of America, knows more about what to do for its subjects (citizens) than the subjects (citizens) know what to do for themselves.  Or in other words, bow to your government’s demands or you will pay a price.  Are we also watching an effort to enslave Americans? 

The new Vaccine edict will be enforced by OSHA, Occupational Safety and Health Administration.  The Democratic Socialist’s attempt to make a law where no law exists.  Expanding an agency’s power where that power does not exist.

Joe Biden said he would use the Power of the President to stop Governors, "To get them out of the way".  What presidential power gives him the right to remove or stop a Governor from doing their job under the State's constitution or the United States Constitution?  And he further said "If you break the rules, be prepared to pay." "It's no longer about freedom or personal choice."  This is pure Totalitarianism.

 White House Chief of Staff Matthew Hamilton Tweeted this.  “Courts consider the intent and purpose of policies and Klain just endorsed the notion that OSHA rule is a "work-around" to enact flagrantly illegal federal vaccine mandates.”  In a second tweet Hamilton wrote, “If you've heard of literacy tests, the grandfather clause, and poll taxes then you understand why work-arounds are problematic.”

Then Stephanie Ruhle wrote, “OSHA doing this vax mandate as an emergency workplace safety rule is the ultimate work-around for the Federal government to require vaccinations.” 

What are some of the words used in this edict?  The “rules would force private-sector employers…”  The words force and mandate are words used by Communist’s dictators.  Not words from leaders in a free country.  By forcing fines on employers of $14,000.00 per incident is criminal.  Remember that part of Obamacare that required individual and corporations to buy health insurance or pay fines (tax)?  This is along the same lines.  The government taking away your freedom to choose for yourselves.  This is wrong and unconstitutional.  We citizens know that it is wrong and so does the Democratic Socialists.  But they are hoping to get away with it.

WHY WE CELEBRATE LABOR DAY


September 6, 2021

Our Country has set aside the first Monday in September as Labor Day.  This year it falls on Sept. 6, 2021.  We take this time to Celebrate the long history of Workers in America.

Adam Smith wrote, "Labour was the first price, the original purchase - money that was paid for all things.  It was not by gold nor silver, but by labour, that all wealth of the world was originally purchased."

Labor Day is set aside for us to recognize, honor, and celebrate the farmers, ranchers, builders, explorers, adventurers, scientist, doctors, nurses, researchers, architects, and many more who left their Comfort Zones to better the lives of all Mankind.

Our Founding Fathers fully understood the God Given Rights of Freedom, Liberty and Property.  Their Vision was to create a Government that supported and protected those God Given Rights.  In their success, an Environment was created in America that unleashed the Spirit of Man to fully exercise those Rights.  The Spirit of Man then went forth with a Desire and Fortitude to reach for their Dreams, Personal Visions, and Beyond.  And with this came a Desire to be Inspired by Faith in their Creator.

Because of the New Environment or The Great Experiment of America, in its first 50 years of existence, America became the Wealthiest and most Productive country on the face of the earth.  America became the Beacon to the World.  Why?  Because Our Founding Fathers successfully unleashed the Spirit of Man.  Americans moved with a force never seen before in the history of mankind.  Comfort Zones were Stretched and Expanded.  Dreams and Visions became a Reality.  The Creative Mind was encouraged.  The American Worker took Pride in their Labors.  And to Perform Labor became a Badge of Honor.

This is the reason why we take the time to Pay Tribute to the Great American Working Tradition on Labor Day.

May we all Pray to our God in Heaven that this Spirit of Man, the Spirit of America, will continue to go forth and reach higher and higher.

May God continue to Bless the United States of America!
