A God complex is one of the most spiritually corrosive forms of pride because it distorts a person’s relationship with truth, with others, and with God Himself. It’s not just “thinking highly of yourself.” It’s the deeper illusion that you are the final authority—morally, intellectually, spiritually, or socially. That illusion carries real dangers.
